This beautiful, developing community garden has recently been targeted by thieves – with 6 of their orchard trees stolen last month. In response the local group are planning to lavish a bit of community love on it and all are welcome to join us on Saturday November 16 from 10am! In support of current community priorities the day will differ from a regular backyard permablitz. It will include a tour, permaculture plan discussion, work on one element of the plan, a variety of working bee tasks, and incorporate permaculture learning. A semi-permablitz, if you will.
It’ll be a fun and interesting day with yummy tucker to fuel us and an active opportunity to learn, meet new great people, and add to your Permablitz attendee cred!
If you would like to participate as a worker bee, RSVP to firstname.lastname@example.org by Sunday 10 November
We have also put a call out for workshop/skill share facilitators.
If you are interested in getting some low pressure ‘blitz facilitation experience, please get in touch (workshop/skill share can be anywhere from 3 to 20 minutes).
