Permaculture Tasmania is an incorporated not-for-profit organisation created to promote Permaculture knowledge and practices. We aim to encourage discussion on Permaculture practices and activities across Tasmania and Australia, sharing ideas, skills and building community networks.
The Permaculture Tasmania Constitution can be viewed here: 2019 Constitution
We are managed entirely by volunteers and seek to advance Permaculture and share the skills, knowledge and social wealth within our membership, creating a network throughout Tasmania – and beyond! For information about our committee members, scroll down!
We have also started up Permaculture Tasmania local groups to encourage sharing skills, knowledge and building of networks in geographical areas – building community sufficiency. These informal groups run regular (often monthly) skills share and social gatherings, film nights, and other activities with most events low or no cost. There are Permaculture Tasmania local groups across the state that you may like to join the Facebook group or mailing list for:
- Break O Day/East Coast
- Huon Valley
- Launceston and Tamar Valley
- Eastern Shore (Hobart)
- North West Coast via the Reseed Centre, Penguin (email group only or ‘like’ the Reseed Centre page)
- Transition Tamar
- Wynyard & Surrounds
For more information you can join the Facebook group for each of the above, or email: email@example.com
