Gordon moved onto a small farm in the Huon Valley at the beginning of 2018, finally commencing that long-held permie dream. Prior to moving to Tasmania, he worked in food and travel media around the world, having held senior positions at Time Out London, Yelp and BBC Worldwide, among others. He has a strong background in social and event strategy for local food and hospitality businesses, as well as experience running large corporate and sponsored events, such as Time Out New York’s ‘Battle of the Burger’.

A certified permaculture designer, Gordon is extremely excited to be scaling up from ‘keen gardener’ to ‘permaculture small-holder’. So far it’s going… okay. Okay is a reasonable description. He also enjoys SCUBA diving, reading, and wine. Just not all at once.
