Lisa is an ecologist with a passion for engaging the community in our natural world. When she’s not unravelling the secret life of bats and other amazing animals and plants, you can find her in her South Hobart backyard amongst a forest of fruit trees, herbs and veggies, being serenaded by chickens and quail. This patch of earth is what drew Lisa into permaculture, as the previous owners had spent decades applying many permaculture principles to their house, backyard, daily lives and the community around them. Recognising just how much sense permaculture makes to living a better life, Lisa joined permaculture Tasmania to kick start her permaculture journey of discovery!
